 Candidate Profile

2022 marks our 30th year in retail in Downtown Kingston. I have seen so much change, challenge and inspiration over the last three decades that I would translate into a greater role for myself on the Board. I have served previously on the board, over a decade ago, and continue to work on the retail committee.

Our downtown is special, and I know this isn't by accident. I look forward to helping other members who want to come together on this board to work on the future of our downtown businesses and community.

The focus of our downtown must be on our customers and the greater Kingston community. Our locals and visitors keep us accountable as an always-evolving, diverse group of businesses and families. Our challenges are many, and my efforts would involve keeping our downtown clean, safe, welcoming and vibrant for locals, visitors and our workers. In recent years, my customers, staff, and friends are concerned about the growing problems associated with our most vulnerable population downtown. We all know this, and I feel the board needs to be partners in solutions for everyone in our community.
