A special thank you to our members and partners for attending last week’s Spring General Meeting and Brand Launch. It was great to see so many of you ‘live and in person’. And it was especially great to connect with so many of our new members. The new brand, with the tagline 'A true original', was well received. We’re so excited to share with you its many applications as we look ahead to a busy, successful summer.
If you weren’t able to join us for the SGM, we encourage you to check out our new website at downtownkingston.ca. We’re adding new content daily and it’s proving to be a great resource for both residents and visitors to our beautiful city.
Check out the Member HUB, a resource for BIA member businesses and their teams
As a part of the brand launch, we created a new member website called MemberHUB - a resource for all BIA members and their teams. The website is easy to remember but we recommend bookmarking it anyway. The member HUB can be found at member.downtownkingston.ca.
We are adding new information every day and will share new features with you as they are built. If you have any suggestions for information that you would like to see on the Member HUB, email member@downtownkingston.ca
The first-ever Amazing K-Town Runaround was a massive success if endless laughter is any indication!
Organized as part of Tourism Awareness Week, the challenge-based race saw teams from local businesses and organizations experience some of the City's top tourism highlights while competing for impressive prizes from some of our members.
A special shout out to members and staff who participated both in the race and as a race stop. Thank you to our partners at Tourism Kingston and Kingston Accommodation Partners. And a massive high-five to the amazing team at Improbable Escapes who pulled it all together.
We're already looking forward to the 2nd Annual Amazing K-Town Runaround. Start planning those team costumes now!
