- Excellence in Event Engagement
The Excellence in Event Engagement award acknowledges and celebrates members who have shown unwavering dedication, passion, and exceptional involvement in various events. This award recognizes their active participation and invaluable contributions that significantly enhance the overall downtown experience and inspire others to engage wholeheartedly in similar endeavours.
- Champions of Downtown
The Champions of Downtown award is an accolade given to individuals, organizations, or businesses that have made significant contributions to the promotion, development, revitalization, and growth to downtown Kington.
- The Golden Broom
The Golden Broom award recognizes businesses that maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness in the external appearance of a store or business. This could include regular window cleanings, doors, and exterior walls, as well as keeping the entrance area and any outdoor displays or signage free of dirt, debris, and clutter. A spotless storefront creates an inviting and appealing environment for customers and contributes to a positive image for downtown.
- Customer Service Excellence
The Customer Service Excellence award is a recognition bestowed upon businesses that exceed expectations, creating memorable experiences for their clients or customers (customer appreciation events, rewards programs, etc.).
- Exceptional Storefront and Street Presence
The Exceptional Storefront and Street Presence Award is meant to recognize a businesses' ability to create a strong and visually appealing presence on the street, effectively drawing attention and enticing customers to visit the store or venue. This can be achieved through a well-designed storefront, attractive window displays, creative signage, or other innovative methods that enhance the overall curb appeal and contribute to a vibrant and welcoming environment for visitors.
- Gary Poupore - Exceptional Dedication Award: This award honours an individual who has shown remarkable dedication and made noteworthy contributions to the downtown business community. Their efforts have positively influenced the community's development and prosperity. This award acknowledges their commitment and serves as an inspiration for others.
