Dates & Time: Wednesday, July 21, Thursday, July 22, or Friday, July 23: 12-1 pm.
Thanks to everyone who participated in Chalk Walk 2022!!!
For a first-time event, we were blown away by the enthusiasm, and positivity from both the artists, and the community. Thousands of people came to enjoy the chalk art contributed by our 35 artists. And what a display! Incredible creativity, and unique vision, all skillfully delivered in a 12-hour window.
Congratulations to our winners, Rodney Watson, winner of the People's Choice Award, and the Jury's Prize for the Established Artists Category, Karla Cordova & Leandra Grieve, winners of the People's Choice Award for the Emerging Artists Category, and Mathieu Mageau-Martin & Naomi Dupont, winners of the Jury's Prize for the Emerging Artists Category.
Lastly, we want to express our appreciation with a thank you to Delta Hotels for providing us with the perfect venue, and to all of our wonderful artists, who spent the day inspiring us with their art and energy! Be on the lookout next year- we'd love to have more businesses participate in this fun event!

The end of a 4-year term is on the horizon for our current volunteer Board of Management. At November's downtown Kingston AGM, our members will vote on the next Board Directors from a list of nominees for the next 4-year term January 2023-December 2026. Please consider if you or someone in our membership would be a good candidate.
Take a moment to meet our new members and when you are in the area, be sure to welcome them to our BIA community! This page will be updated regularly so you can stay in the know.
