New Business or Property Owners

Have you recently purchased a property or opened a business in Downtown Kingston?

Congratulations! You are automatically a Downtown Kingston Business Improvement Area (BIA) member. To register your business and to get started on taking advantage of some of the great things that come with being a part of the BIA, we ask that you reach out to us by emailing member@downtownkingston.ca or by calling our office at 613-542-8677.

Did you know there are over 300 BIA's across Ontario, and hundred's more similar organizations across Canada and North America? BIA's are responsible for the overall experience in a designated area of a city or town - usually the downtown core. We take care of things like events, streetscapes, flowers, and marketing the downtown area as a destination, to name a few. In Toronto, there are over 80 BIA's alone because they have so many neighbourhoods downtown.

As a new member, the most important to-do item on your list is to contact us so that we can come for a visit and show you all of the awesome perks and get you connected to the Downtown Kingston community. Once that's done, we can move forward with some of the fun stuff!

We look forward to meeting you!
