Meet our Partners

Our major partners are the City of Kingston, Kingston Accommodation Partners, Kingston Economic Development Corporation, Leon's Centre, Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce, and Tourism Kingston.

City of Kingston

The City administers and operates nearly 40 business and service units to meet the municipal needs of those who live, work and play in Kingston.

The City also partners with Utilities Kingston (wholly-owned by the City) to maintain and steward the development of the City's infrastructure, including roads, streets, sidewalks, bikeways, bridges, buildings, electrical, gas and broadband/fibre-optic networks, sewage and water treatment facilities.

The City of Kingston is governed by a City Council, elected by its residents to represent their priorities and make decisions that guide the work of City departments and staff.

A number of committees and boards and strategies, studies and plans aid in guiding the governance and administration of the City toward fulfilling the community's expressed vision: Kingston: Canada's most sustainable City.

Kingston's Strategic Plan offers an overview of the work now being undertaken by the City and Council (and the budgets associated with this work).
